I voted no because I don't think you can measure a bottom. I had bottoms after I came into recovery and never picked up. I had emotional and spiritual
bottoms as well as physical ones.
The young people coming into recovery today, is a bonus. They have more 'stuff' out there then they did when I was there age. I qualified for the program 25 years before I got here. Love Always,

I didn't vote, because I don't know. I had a bottom, and have a tendency to think it takes a crisis of some sort to get most people's
attention...but would love to see someone get it, just from us raising the bottom for them, so to speak. That would be great!

I voted no. Now what is a bottom to some I have no idea...but I believe something must preceed wanting to get sober or why stop? Be it physical, or
Emotional. I also do not think getting sober for anything but yourself works in most cases either. I was not a light weight addict by no means, and cannot
see anyone that is addicted stopping until something says this is not good. I wish we could educate people on addiction so they never started but I believe we
are born this way and all the education in the world will not stop us once we try something that feels good... We need that good feeling by the time we get
there..were the normies don't.

I voted No, because I think everyone has to hit a bottom..... but everyone's bottom is different. In my case it was an emotional bottom. I felt utterly
broken and hopeless and alone, and God knocked me upside the head and showed me my life in a moment of clarity. I had had a miscarriage two months prior and
just could not cope with life.
